VALO Ultra Silica Fume (also known as Micro Silica) is an ultrafine amorphous silicon dioxide (Sioz) powder collected as a by-product during the production of silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloys in electric arc furnaces. It enhances concrete and mortar performance through both physical and chemical effects, physically by improving particle packing density, and chemically by acting as a highly reactive pozzolanic material.
